Danardo has an active, well-constructed research portfolio that includes peer-reviewed
publications in leading journals, book chapters, a forthcoming book, successful grant applications, an award-winning documentary on race and the Charter, submissions before Parliamentary and Legislative Committees, Op-eds, and co-editorship of a forthcoming special issue of the Journal of Law and Social Policy that will publish 16 papers on critical race theory (“CRT”) from leading critical race scholars across Canada. As a result of his research activities, he have been afforded the opportunity to participate in peer-reviewing articles for leading Law Reviews.

Danardo is an expert in criminal law and procedure, with a specific emphasis on race, criminal punishment, and legal geographies. ​
